Well, friends. I have some bad news.
This marks the end of White Claw Week.
I have truly had a blast concocting some seriously sweet recipes featuring White Claw and let’s just say there’s a zodiac cocktail coming up featuring the stuff, too… so it won’t be the last you see of it!
Again, if you don’t know what the heck I’m talking about, hi. I’m Hayley and I made up this fake week wherein I create a cocktail featuring White Claw Hard Seltzer every day this week. White Claw has taken the nation by storm and has dominated the beer and wine aisle as of this summer. It has truly become a phenomenon in itself, inspiring memes galore and the hashtag #whiteclawwasted, in case you were wondering.
In conclusion with White Claw Week, I needed a cocktail that celebrated my new fave flavor, Raspberry. Prior to my trying all the flavors in the name of science, I was pretty keen on black cherry. Raspberries are one of my favorite fruits but I often feel disappointed over raspberry flavored things. However, this one was delicious and it’s going in the regular rotation!
I also knew I needed to make something with gin since I have used almost every major liquor (save for whiskey) this week and knew gin would be a perfect pairing with this White Claw Raspberry Gin Sparkler!
This cocktail consists of raspberry liqueur, gin, simple syrup, lime juice, and Raspberry White Claw for an ultra refreshing cocktail with the perfect amount of bubbly fizz and a sweet, light, earthy flavor. The raspberry liqueur really sends it over the top, so don’t skimp on that! Any brand will work, but I’m partial to Chambord!
Well, y’all. It’s been a lovely week celebrating all things White Claw with you. Time to throw this one back and pour one out for our homies, or whatever.
- 1.5 oz gin (I like Tanqueray or New Amsterdam but any kind works)
- ½ oz fresh lime juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- ½ oz raspberry liqueur (I like Chambord)
- Raspberry White Claw
- In a tall glass, add in the gin, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and raspberry liqueur. Stir with a long cocktail spoon. Add in ice to fill the top, then pour in the raspberry White Claw to serve.
Light, fizzy, and refreshing with a hint of raspberry sweetness. Yum!
