Raspberry Candy Champagne Punch in 2 glasses with rock candy stirrers and bells in backgroundHappy New Year!

I can hardly believe it’s already 2015 and I think that’s plenty of cause to celebrate! A new year, a new you, and a new drink to kick things off right 🙂

Since mimosas are so 2014, this Raspberry Candy Champagne Punch is just the perfect new addition to your drink repertoire. Plus, this easily doubles as a brunch beverage or a dinnertime delight… hello, awesomeness! And it has just the right amount of sweetness without being too cloying. In fact, it may be the drink of 2015. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Bottoms up, friends!

Course: Treats
Servings: 2
Author: Hayley Parker, The Domestic Rebel

Ingredients

  • 2 cups champagne
  • 1/2 cup raspberry syrup I like Torani Sugar Free
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Raspberry rock candy sticks

Instructions

  • Place a handful of raspberries among each glass; top with 1/4 cup raspberry syrup and 1/4 cup orange juice in each glass. Finish off with a cup of champagne per glass.
  • Serve with a raspberry rock candy as a swizzle stick garnish. I recommend setting them in each cup for a couple minutes to allow the candy to soak up some of the flavors, but if the candy's in there too long it will absorb into the drink, FYI.
