So I made this not actually making the pudding but just the mix and the consistency mixing it was weird. After reading the comments I see contradicting things, are you supposed to make the pudding THEN mix it in with the cake batter and milk or just mix in the dry pudding mix with the cake batter and milk?

In reply to Tracy. Tracy, if you are feeling unsure about it, you can always heat treat the cake mix by microwaving the dry cake mix powder on a microwave-safe plate for about 40 seconds to 1 minute and let cool before proceeding. Note, this may melt the sprinkles in the cake mix.

This recipe looks so pretty and I love anything Funfetti so I’m dying to make this I just have what is probably a totally stupid question.

Is it safe to eat dry (uncooked) cake mix. I know you are not supposed to eat raw flour that’s why I’m asking.

In reply to Amy. Hi Amy! Good question! You could mix it into a milkshake, no-churn ice cream, or search for cookie recipes that use it in them for part of the flour.
