Hi Heidi, I know – it’s such a bummer! I would recommend using white chocolate plus a mixture of cinnamon & brown sugar to mix in.

I just had to read this post again because it’s still the funniest post I’ve ever read…….and to make sure more people get to see it, I made this Churro Bugle Mix this afternoon (Husband can’t keep his hands out of it!) and then I took a pix and put a link to your recipe on the FB page. I tried to tag you but I couldn’t…………so I thought I would let you know! Gawd, that’s a funny story.

I am sitting in my little cubicle at work in pure silence, right.. I have three neighbors who are minding their own business just shuffling through their papers. All you can hear is papers shifting, fingers typing away, and the occasional phone ringing across the hall- nothing funny going on AT ALL. But here I am reading this post and I start busting up laughing out of nowhere, like literally laughing out loud!! I couldn’t hold it in! I totally pictured your entire night and I have to say that I am happy to know that I’m not the only person who visualizes random attacks in bathroom stalls and people-watches and analyzes all the weirdos!! You had me at “But then her pinky toe flinched and I decided she was safe…” HILARIOUS!!! My neighbors were curious as to what was so flippin funny so I passed your blog along and they all LOVED it, as well! Laughter truly makes your soul feel better- Thank you for making my day!

Hands-down that is the funniest post I have ever read on any blog anywhere! I laughed so hard I had to RUN to the bathroom to keep from embarrassing myself. When my husband came in to see if I had some sort of seizure, I had to read it to him. he is generally nonplussed about most things – but he laughed all the way through it and then said, “so – are you sure you don’t have TWO daughters?” I sort of narrate like you, wherever we go and I passed this long standing tradition down to my daughter. And to think – I read this because I love Bugles and Churros! 🙂
