White Claw Week: White Claw Paloma
If you've never tried a Paloma before, you MUST try Mexico's beloved cocktail - and no, it isn't the margarita! Palomas are bright, zippy, tart and are made with tequila and grapefruit juice. My version has bubbles and fizz thanks to White Claw!
- 1/4 cup grapefruit juice fresh or bottled
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1/2 - 1 oz simple syrup or agave start with 1/2 oz for something more tart and gradually add more if needed to adjust sweetness
- 1/4 cup tequila white or gold
- Grapefruit White Claw
- Grapefruit wedges for garnish
- Salt for rimming glass
Use a grapefruit wedge to rim a highball glass. Dredge the rimmed glass in coarse salt. Set aside.
To the highball glass, add in the grapefruit juice, lime juice, simple syrup and tequila. Stir with a long cocktail spoon. Add in plenty of ice to fill the glass and top with grapefruit White Claw. Garnish with grapefruit wedges.
