Ingredients

  • 1 package vanilla wafer cookies with chocolate filling like by Voortman's or another brand
  • 16 oz (1 package) chocolate candy coating like by Candiquik

Instructions

  • Line a large baking sheet with foil and set aside. Melt the chocolate candy coating according to package directions, or until smooth and melted.
  • Dip one of the wafer cookies into the melted chocolate and gently toss to coat using a fork. Lift the wafer cookie out of the melted chocolate by the fork and allow excess chocolate to drip off of the fork, then carefully slide the cookie off of the fork and onto the foil-lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining cookies until all cookies have been dipped. With any remaining melted chocolate, I drizzled it over the Kit-Kats for a prettier presentation, but it isn't necessary. Allow chocolate to set before serving or storing.

Notes

Experiment with different flavors of wafers and different types of candy coating and toppings for your Kit-Kats. This should be fun! Nowadays, there are tons of different, more imaginative wafer cookie flavors than ever before, like cinnamon roll, pumpkin spice, apple pie, and lemon meringue. Use those to your advantage to make fun and unique Kit-Kat flavors and dip them into melted chocolate or white chocolate! Likewise, you can add flavor mix-ins to your melted chocolate as well, like a Tablespoon of creamy peanut butter or a teaspoon of culinary matcha powder.
