Got it now. They are perfect. Oven temperature was off. It’s an old oven 195. I put oven thermometer in. Problem solved

We love baking and trying new recipes; this is one of the best cookies I have ever baked. Followed exactly as stated…my husband devoured them in 2 days. I had to promise to bake another batch to send with my daughter when she heads back to college. Thank you!!!!

Hi Julie, yes you can! I would freeze them in a single layer with parchment in between the layers.

These are delicious! I followed recipe exactly except added additional lemon zest to dough, and added zest to icing. I’ll definitely make these again- thanks for sharing this recipe!
