I just made this for my husband and tweaked it a bit, the rest of the lime jello I mixed in a bowl with water and sugar and poured a tad on to soak into the cake and then put the custard on it followed by frosting. It’s so good!.

I made the key lime poke cake for the family this weekend and everyone loved it! It was so good! Don’t forget the eggs under the cake instructions.

Hi Lily, you could, but it would be a lot of work. Also, the “frosting” isn’t really stiff enough to be piped so it would need to be spread on.
