I hope you’ve all had a great month so far! I know I say this literally every month but I just cannot believe we’re already pretty much into the holiday season. I don’t know how it happened?! I remember being a kid and the year dragging so painfully slowly that Christmas seemed like a million years away. Now I blinked during my January birthday and suddenly I’m already halfway done Christmas shopping again.
Speaking of which, have you guys started Christmas shopping yet? I usually like to start my shopping in October and finished in November so I don’t have to deal with the crowds and drama of the mall. I cannot imagine how high and unmanageable my anxiety would be if I had to shop on Christmas Eve! Like, how do you people do it??
This month was busy for me! I worked a ton (gearing up for Christmas recipes!), Mannie got pink eye (which I did not know dogs could get!?), and I had some much-needed dental work done. I also went to a local pumpkin patch that I’d never been to called Bishop’s with my friend and her family. We did a pick-your-own sunflower farm (where I scored those two beauties above!), rode on a hay ride and picked up some AMAZING apple cider. Going to pumpkin or apple farms is one of my favorite things about this time of year. It just signifies fall to me!
And now as usual, here are some links and things I’m loving this month! As always, feel free to leave me links to things you’re loving in the comments!
Um, yes please.
I love the restaurant salad so this is a must make for me!
How AMAZING is this cake from my friend Heather?! Seriously BREATHTAKING!!
I just started using this serum from Trader Joe’s and it is incredible. My skin feels like silk!
I also love how this serum makes my skin feel!
This is my signature home scent and this 6-pack is a steal!! I use this particular scent year-round.
Craving all things cheesy & comforting lately!
I don’t think I could resist a piece of this cake.
Of course I got the Aquarius version! This tee is soft, vintage-y and supports small business!
Just finished this book and it was good! A dishy, light read about a rare peek inside a harem.
But THIS book was excellent. One of the BEST I have read – EVER. Highly recommend this searing account of three womens’ lives.
I just started this read which is awesome so far! I love these types of books where we get a peek inside world’s we aren’t used to seeing.
I’ve been needing a new western-inspired belt and I fell in love with this leather one! The price-point is great, too!
Picked up a couple of these and they’re SO comfortable!
No hating, but I think I need this fuzzy onesie!
I’ve been known to decorate for Xmas on November 1st, and I want this! It’s totally cute.
And my monthly “splurge”, AKA the item I would splurge on if I had the extra cash – is this gorgeous mid-century-inspired lamp! The lamp I have works fine but is kinda fugly. This one is gorgeous, relatively inexpensive and fits my MCM aesthetic. I may or may not be ordering this one for real next month 🙂
That’s it! Hope you guys enjoy the remainder of October!
Have a super sweet day!
