Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I got the filling nice and thick on the stove top. I poured it into the pie crust and put it in the oven for 25 minutes. It’s pure liquid now. I keep adding 5 minutes, 5 minutes and now it’s been baking for 40 minutes without any changes to the consistency. Bummer. It smells great though!]]></description>

I don’t see where you put this on under the broiler at all and it makes that wonderful layer on top of the pie. Is there something with the maple that it can’t go under the broiler?]]></description>
