Hi Nan! So sorry about your cake sinking! A couple of reasons why cakes can sink: it was overmixed; the oven door was opened too much and too much heat escaped, causing the air to sink in the cake; or it was underbaked. Hope this helps!

Hi Andrea, sorry for the delay in my reply. You can most likely use mayo though I have not tried that. And the yogurt would be plain.

Today is my fourth time making this cake. It’s always a hit! I decreased the cream in my ganache to 1/3 of a cup because I wanted it to be a little thicker and not puddle at the base of the cake. Thanks for the recipe!
