I’ve made it twice now and the first time I followed the recipe exact. It was too many lucky charms in the crust for my taste. It was so thick. The second time I used about 4 1/2 cups lucky charms. This was much easier to cut and eat. Overall, we enjoyed it much better. I would recommend only using about 4 1/2 - 5 cups lucky charms.

Instead of using mini marshmallows for the crust I decided to put Lucky Charms into a food processor, grind them down, and then add melted butter to make the pie crust. This is very similar to the way you make graham cracker crust for pies. Although the crust did not look as beautiful as the picture on here (my crust turned green... maybe this would be good for St. Patrick's Day ;P) - it tasted delicious! After I formed the crust with my hands on the round glass pie dish I decided to cook it so it would be a little bit crispy. I put it in the oven at 400 degrees for 10-15 min. Once crust cooled I added the cheese cake mixture and then put in the fridge to set.

Hi, great recipe! My son and I just made it, the only thing was there was way too many lucky charms to fit inside the 9 inch pan, so we transferred into a glass casserole dish, and then there really wasn't enough filling to go on top of all the lucky charms. Next time I will use about 4 cups, then it should all fit into the 9 inch pan.

Do you guys have Amazon in Australia? Amazon has the cereal marshmallows online! For the marshmallow fluff (the jar), you can substitute it with 1 & 1/2 cups melted marshmallows, and the Cool Whip can be substituted with fresh whipped cream!
