I made these last night. I substituted a white cake mix and added red and green sprinkles, since I couldn’t find the holiday funfetti mix and I wanted them to be Christmas-y.
These bars are SO good, and totally gooey. Mine were a little cracked on top, I think I may have over baked them a bit. They still taste great!

I stupidly attempted this in an 8×8 pan with the same cooking time and it came out a bit too think and soupy. #bakingfail
The flavor was great though and I’ll try again another time

Ok, first of all…YUM!! These look like heaven! Anytime I make dessert, it’s ALWAYS one of your recipes. My family goes crazy over all of it! Question: can I use vanilla extract instead of almond? I really can’t stand almond extract but if it imperative to the taste then I guess I could do it. I mean is this a dumb question? Lol!
Also, I’m giving this 5 stars because I KNOW it’s gonna be amazing! 🙂
