In reply to Dianne Stanton. Hi Dianne, sorry for the delay. Striped shortbread cookies are by the brand Keebler, but any fudge-striped shortbread cookie will work. Candiquik is a chocolate candy coating that melts and hardens over treats. I'm sure you have an equivalent in Canada! Sometimes it's called almond bark or candy coating.

These look amazing though here in Canada not sure of fudge striped shortbread or what chocolate CandiQuik is?

Hands down my favorite GS cookie! Thanks for sharing. To reduce the cost and calories/cookie, I use the smaller Murray’s Butter Cookies or Salerno Butter Rings. I also use a higher quality dark chocolate (chips or bar) which tastes less waxy and is somewhat healthier.
