Easier way is to just simply boil those condensed milk cans unopened for 2-3hours and it is done.

In reply to Ann. Yes, I've made some magic bars with the caramel condensed milk and it's super good! This is just a fun way to make dulce de leche if you can't find it available at your local store, or for a more homemade flavor :)

Psssst….I’m sure you know that Eagle brand now widely sells caramel flavored and chocolate flavored sweetened condensed milk. Catching my drift of thought…?
