I’ve been using this recipe for years now. It is my go to chocolate cake when i need to bring something. I now have a little boy who is allergic to eggs. Has anyone had luck replacing 4 EGGS in this recipe? I’ve made many different recipes and tried all the egg replacements with hit or misses.

In reply to Marisa. You could make sour milk. Take the same amount of milk, minus a tablespoon and add back in a tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice. Let set for 5 minutes.

I’ve been using this recipe for the past 5 years. I love it so much!! It’s super moist, rich, and the mini chips add a great “crunch”. Thank you for sharing it! I make this whole cake for myself and love eating it all LOL!! Can I use this recipe for cupcakes?

In reply to Prisha. Hi Prisha, depending on your type of pan (I recommend a light metal pan for most consistent results) but I'd think maybe 45-50 minutes? Definitely check and increase baking time in 5 minute increments if that's too soon.

Quick question.. how long should I bake it if I use 8inch pan. I have made this before in the Bundt pan and it’s The best chocolate cake ever!

In reply to Nikki. Hi Nikki, not at all! Regular pudding will work as long as it is INSTANT. Cook and serve will create a very weird texture!
