In reply to Carrie. Hi Carrie, it definitely helps keep the bread moist and does add flavor, but yes, you can leave it out and the bread will turn out just fine :)

Is the pudding mix just for flavor? Could I leave it out? (I live in another country where pudding mix isn’t readily available)

It’s probably a good thing I don’t live near a Trader Joe’s because all the stuff would come home with me all the time! But now I am sad because hello, I totally missing out on good things like cookies and creme butter!!! What an absolutely delicious thing to spread on Oreo filled banana bread!!!
