I made this cake. It fell apart when I inverted it.
It’s a mess. But bc tuesdsy us Halloween I will dress it up into a scary cake and bring to work.
I added a cup of chopped walnuts. I did try a crumbly piece that fell off and it’s delicious.
So bc I don’t care about presentation I’m giving it five stars plus.
It was also fun to make.

I just made the cake, thus 4 star rating. I had to use some substitutions so we'll have to try it before saying what I did and if I screwed it up totally! Ha! Ha! But it at least looks yummy ! 1.) This cake looks amazing!
2.) I totally agree about those dresses looking trashy.
3.) People on House Hunters drive me insane too, especially when they complain about paint colors (as if that’s so hard to change).
4.) I’m totally jealous you are in NY. I moved back to Sacramento after living in NJ for 4 years and I miss it so much!

YOU’RE IN NYC AGAAAAIN???! *sob*

I also love SYTTD and agree about the mullet-y corset-y gowns. The worst is that 99% of the time you CAN SEE THEIR UNDERWEAR because the corset goes down sooo far. Blechy.

Anyway. This cake is not blechy. It looks sweet and crisp on the outside but soft on the inside-heeeeavenly

BTW, I totally feel you on the Say Yes To The Dress, as well as House Hunters! I was watching HH one day when I could still kind of stand it and the couple literally said about the huge pool, “Well…I don’t knooooowwww…the pool is so much smaller than ours is now…”
