In reply to jaie. Hi Jaie, Candiquik is a chocolate product that melts at a much higher temperature and is less prone to seizing like regular chocolate. If you cannot find it (I usually get mine at Walmart), I would just use chocolate chips!

I love all your maple recipes but what is candiquick. i’m Canadian so I have been eating maple syrup forever. and with bacon – simply heaven. going to have a party to make up with all my friends who are currently mad at me. they won’t be able to resist me with this menu. and if they are all still ticked then i’ll eat them all or make new pals. can’t lose! but please tell me what is candiqick and can I make the doughnuts without it. oh and where is it available. tah muchly. 🙂

I’m supposed to be stupid dieting right now. I can’t even imagine how awesome it would be to have six amazing donuts all to myself. Maple bars are my donut dream, so these sound ridiculously incredible. I’m going to eat this.

How did I miss this???? Dorothy probably hates me because I’m pretty sure I ate most of her Marla. Why didn’t I think of just buying some at the store? Why even bother crumbling, maybe I should just layer an entire butterfinger on top of a maple bar. Oh yeah. That’s not ridiculous or anything right?? They look great Hayley!
