In reply to Cindy. Hi Cindy! Sorry you had trouble finding the toffee bits - I usually find mine in the baking aisle near the chocolate chips. Hope that helps for next time, but awesome that you made your own toffee!

This is amazing! I baked a batch yesterday for a cookie swap and I tied it with another cookie for best in taste! Toffee bits was hard to find (after four supermarkets, I gave up!). Thankfully it’s easy to make them at home. Thanks for the recipe!

TOFFEE : Combine 2/3 cup butter and 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar in small saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Continue boiling, stirring constantly, 30 seconds. Use immediately.

OMG these cookies. They look perfect and I’m mildly obsessed with toffee. You should set up a second account with these cookies as the profile pic. Sure to bring all the sexy gentlemen to the yard (which is a major upgrade from milkshakes, which just bring boys).
