Really loved the fluffiness of this cake. I did modify the nutmeg for cinnamon for my kids and I added pecans to the topping and it turned out amazing. I was looking for a recipe with less eggs and super easy. This definitely hit the bill and was perfect.

Hi there! You’re absolutely correct–I DID forget the oil. I’m so sorry about that! When you add the flour to the dry ingredients, you also add the oil and then set aside 3/4 cup of that crumbly mixture — that is your topping, and I promise it isn’t dry. Again, sorry for my mistake. I’ve fixed it for you and hope you’ll try it again because it’s great when it’s made right 🙂

i made this and it didnt work out. I think you missed writing in a step. you missed putting in the oil. also the topping on top was just dry and i am thinking you needed the oil for that part.
