NYC, Here I Come.

NYC 556

Hi friends!

As you’re reading this, I’m on a flight to the beautiful city that never sleeps, New York City, for a nice little vacation from California.

I’ll be back in a few days, according to plan, anyway. But knowing me, I’ll probably fall in love the second I step foot on a city street and will promptly begin looking for apartments — or closets– where me and Mannie can take up residence.

I fully intend on eating my weight in delicious desserts, savory food, and yummy libations. I’m going to try macarons for the first time (I have a feeling they’ll taste totally bland and then I’ll have to judge everyone who goes totally crazy for macarons, but I want to try them to see what the fuss is about), I’ll probably get lost in Times Square (and am perfectly fine with that), I’ll likely spend way too much money on clothing and souvenirs because I am powerless against shopping in a huge fashion capital city, and I am hoping I’ll run into Betsey Johnson or Jennifer Lawrence on the street, because that would fulfill all of my life’s dreams.

I’ll see you in a few days!

xo.

I bet you will love macarons! I had my first one a few werks ago and it was amazingly good. Sweet, and light but chewy at the same time. Hope you have a blast in NYC!
