16 Heart Throbbing Valentine’s Day Recipes

Hi lovers!

Valentine’s Day is around the corner, but I’m sure you already knew that. I’m sure you already have your perfect day planned out down to the dinner reservations and the outfit you’re going to wear. And guys, I bet you guys have already found the perfect sentimental card and have picked out THE most gorg bouquet of roses from FTD, right? Right :)

Well, if you’re counting down the minutes in anticipation or if you’re still frantically searching for a romantical dessert or a perfect sweet treat to take to neighbors, classrooms, or coworkers, search no more! Cupid struck me early and I got in the spirit with plenty of time to spare. These versatile treats will make any recipient feel oh-so special, and they’ll make you feel oh-so happy since they’re super simple to make, yet make a seriously lovely impression.

I know, because I am the queen of making seriously lovely impressions. #indenial

Let’s get started, shall we, lovebirds?!

valentine1Sweetheart Brownie Pops: dress up boxed brownies into heart shapes and dunk ‘em in chocolate. Nothing is sweeter!
Red Velvet Cookies n Cream Magic Bars: these bars changed my previously-snippy opinion of red velvet.. they’re THAT good.
Valentine Crispy Bark: seriously sweet and easy to make, this would be fun to whip up with the kids!
Chocolate Cherry Cola Cupcakes: a soda shop classic that tastes AWESOME.

valentine2Bubblegum Sugar Cookies: me oh my, these taste JUST like bubblegum and will be a hit with kids!!
Strawberry Nutella Heart Pie Pops: eat your heart out!! Who doesn’t love chocolate and strawberry!?
Chocolate Covered Mallow Pillow Cookies: sub strawberry marshmallows for the regular for a fun Valentine’s twist.
Neapolitan Brownie Bottom Cupcakes: brownie on the bottom, strawberry in the middle, vanilla on top. A tasty totem pole.

valentine3Chocolate Cherry Fudge: such a cinch to make and tastes SO creamy and fudgy. You know, like fudge.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Heart Chip Cookies: a fun spin on the peanut butter blossom cookie with a peanut-butter cup heart in the middle. So perf.
Raspberry Cheesecake Kiss Cupcakes: pucker up! These cupcakes are sweet and tart and have fun edible lip candies on top!
Gooey Neapolitan Bars: hubba, hubba. Extra on the gooey factor here, people.

White Chocolate & Raspberry Popcorn: this would be super easy to whip up and package in cute tins or cellophane bags for coworkers and friends!
Red Hot Cinnamon Cupcakes: the Red Hot icing is TO. DIE. FOR. You must try it!
Red Velvet Donuts: totally swoonworthy donuts with a red velvet-flavored glaze. OMG!
Almond Sugar Valentine Cookies: sweet cookies with a hint of almond extract to make them extra special :)

See? Those recipes toooootally beat a generic box of chocolates, amirite? My personal favorite? The Red Hot Cupcakes. They’re INCREDIBLE and I sooo need to make them this year for V-Day!

Anyway, Cupid promised me if I posted this early, he’d introduce me to Jennifer Lawrence (hubba hubba indeed). See ya soon!!

xo, Hayley
