However, when I made them, the frosting was so dry I couldn’t even spread it much less pipe it into the cupcakes. I added 4 + tbsp if cream/milk and it was still stiff, but at least pipe-able. Is there an ingredient missing from the frosting? Milk? Cream? Another stick of butter? Otherwise, they tasted good 🙂

Good question! I’ve never froze frosting before, but it may work! It’s basically a buttercream, so if you’d had success with freezing buttercream in the past, it should work.
