In reply to vintageapple. Hey! Yeah, it tastes similar enough to ice cream that you won't notice a difference. It is lighter than ice cream and a little softer texture-wise, but otherwise, it's so good, you can't even tell minor differences :)

GAK. I hate those ambrosia salads and stuff. Dessert salads kind of oog me out, too. I don’t know–perhaps growing up with being forced to eat fruit cocktail “salad” or pistachio salad all the time has grossed me out for dessert salads for life.

I’m with you, honestly, I have no idea why ambrosia was ever invented. Seriously. Or, that green jello “salad” thing that comes out for holidays and family bbqs. Your ice cream looks soooo much better!
